Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant/Toddler Floater! In this dynamic role, you will provide flexible, nurturing care across multiple classrooms, ensuring each infant and toddler receives attentive, high-quality support. As a vital team member, you will help maintain a positive, engaging environment that promotes growth, exploration, and development for our youngest learners. Your energy and dedication will help create a warm, safe space where children feel valued and supported every day. Duties Assist in supervising and caring for infants and toddlers across various classrooms to ensure their safety and well-being. Support teachers with daily activities such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and age-appropriate play. Engage children in stimulating activities that promote social-emotional development, motor skills, and early learning concepts. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment following health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to implement curriculum plans aligned with childhood development principles. Observe and document children's progress to support individualized learning and developmental goals. Be adaptable to cover different classrooms as needed, providing consistent care regardless of location or schedule changes. Skills Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and childhood development milestones. Experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare or preschool settings. Strong understanding of classroom management techniques tailored to young children. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions. First aid certification and knowledge of emergency procedures for young children. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families. Demonstrated caregiving skills including nurturing, patience, and attentiveness to individual needs.
