Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, self motivated, and hardworking Kennel Technician to join our training team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with dogs and thrives in an active, hands-on environment. As part of our evening team, you will ensure the safety, cleanliness, and well-being of the dogs under our care.

Responsibilities:

Feed and administer medications to dogs as needed. Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and other facility spaces. Conduct evening activities and reinforce training. Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting concerns promptly. Prepare dogs for overnight rest, ensuring a calm and secure environment. Follow all safety and care protocols to maintain a clean and structured environment.

Qualifications:

Passion for working with dogs and knowledge of basic canine behavior. Prior experience in a kennel, daycare, or animal care facility is a plus but not required. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in addition to bending, standing, and being active for extended periods. Willingness to work in all weather conditions on a farm property. Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
