About the Role KidzTown Academy is seeking a nurturing, dependable Infant Teacher to join our Little Redbirds classroom (ages 6 weeks-12 months). In this role, you'll provide safe, responsive care that fosters secure relationships and supports developmental milestones through purposeful play, daily routines, and meaningful interactions. What You'll Do Provide safe, nurturing, and responsive care while following individualized feeding, diapering, and sleep routines. Support infant development through age-appropriate play, sensory exploration, music, movement, and early language experiences. Observe developmental milestones and maintain consistent communication with families. Maintain a clean, organized classroom, accurate records, and compliance with academy policies and Tennessee licensing requirements. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development and school activities. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is:

Previous experience caring for infants in a childcare center, preschool, Early Head Start, licensed home childcare setting, or similar environment preferred. CDA, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of infant developmental milestones and developmentally appropriate practices preferred. Must be able to meet all Tennessee childcare licensing requirements, including required background checks and training. CPR/First Aid certification preferred; willingness to obtain required certification is expected. Must be physically able to safely lift, carry, sit on the floor with, and care for infants throughout the workday.

Pay:

$11.00 - $15.00 per hour
