We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow and develop essential skills. This role requires creativity, patience, and a passion for working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons, activities, and play-based learning experiences. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Support children with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and toilet training, as necessary. Encourage positive behavior through appropriate guidance and discipline techniques. Follow all state licensing requirements and daycare policies to ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a classroom effectively and handle multiple tasks. A warm, friendly, and patient demeanor with a passion for child development. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and engage in physical activities with children.
