Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Two's Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers aged two years old. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow through engaging activities and thoughtful guidance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's early learning experiences while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood education, literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among toddlers. Manage daily classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, diapering, and play activities, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. Use effective classroom management techniques to support positive behavior and foster respectful interactions among children. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any behavioral or learning concerns. Incorporate specialized strategies for working with children requiring early intervention or with special education needs. Maintain detailed records of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing requirements. Requirements Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting; prior preschool experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and early intervention techniques. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and implementing literacy education. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as early childhood education standards is a plus. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining a warm and supportive environment. Certification in early childhood education or related field; additional training in special education or child welfare is advantageous. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
