Duties Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines for infants and toddlers. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly. Support classroom management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among children. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus. Familiarity with child supervision techniques and behavior management strategies. Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid or emergency response training is desirable. Understanding of classroom management tools and child development instruction methods. Ability to follow safety protocols such as mandated reporting laws and health guidelines related to childcare environments.
