The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and an understanding of childhood development. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing environment for children while facilitating their growth and learning through engaging activities. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children (& possibly occasionally infants), ensuring their well-being and development. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment Implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Provide care for toddlers (& possibly occasionally infants), including feeding, diapering, and comforting Maintain a clean and organized childcare space Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education Qualifications Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny or babysitter Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones is preferred First aid certification is desirable Strong skills in teaching and facilitating learning experiences for young children Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive child interactions Experience in toddler care, infant care, or caregiving roles is preferred Ability to work collaboratively with others while demonstrating patience and empathy towards children If you are passionate about nurturing young minds and making a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Childcare Provider.
