Duties Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Foster a positive, well-managed classroom that meets the diverse needs of all learners. Monitor children's progress and adapt instruction to encourage individual growth. Partner with families through regular communication about each child's development and milestones. Support children with varying abilities using inclusive teaching practices and early intervention strategies. Maintain a safe, healthy classroom and comply with all licensing, health, and safety requirements. Participate in ongoing professional development to strengthen teaching skills and best practices. Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering an inclusive environment for all learners.
