Toddler Teacher

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture young children during their formative years. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that promotes early childhood education, social-emotional growth, and curiosity. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay a strong foundation for children's future learning and development, ensuring they feel supported, valued, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties Implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddler developmental stages, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and age-appropriate activities. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques that promote cooperation and respect. Provide comprehensive toddler care, including supervising daily routines such as feeding, diapering, and nap times while ensuring health and safety standards are met. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build strong home-school partnerships. Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress, standardized testing results, and classroom activities in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Incorporate physical education activities to support motor skills development and overall physical health. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom setup, and implementing inclusive practices for children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services. Experience Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience teaching physical education or movement-based activities is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs enhances your ability to support diverse learners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety in emergency situations. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Previous private school or preschool teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a genuine passion for early childhood education is essential. Join us in shaping bright futures by providing joyful learning experiences that empower young children to thrive!
