Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Young Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture children in their early developmental stages. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster early childhood development and literacy skills. Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support for each child. Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress and adhere to mandated reporting laws. Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support diverse learning needs. Facilitate activities that promote physical development, including movement, music, and play-based learning. Ensure classroom organization aligns with best practices in preschool teaching. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is required. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Experience developing curriculum plans that include literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, child welfare standards, and health & safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification. Background in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Classroom experience involving standardized testing or assessments to monitor developmental progress is a plus.
