Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of preschool and toddler-aged children Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth Manage daily classroom activities with effective behavior management and classroom management strategies Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor progress Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share insights on their child's progress and address any concerns Incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects into daily lesson plans Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child welfare and incident reports Collaborate with special education teams to support children requiring early intervention or additional assistance in a inclusive setting Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as preschools or childcare centers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool teaching Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management approaches Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood education or preschool teaching are preferred Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Ability to adhere to all safety protocols, including mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards Prior experience working in private schools or similar educational environments is advantageous Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young learners today!
