The Learning Experience Corp - Cypress Northpointe is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide children's growth in a warm, family-like environment. The Lead Teacher will plan and implement The Learning Experience's proprietary, play-based curriculum for infants through kindergarten, ensuring lessons support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This role leads classroom routines, models positive behavior management, and maintains a safe, clean space. The Lead Teacher will assess child progress, communicate regularly with families, document activities, and collaborate with assistant teachers and staff. Training and ongoing development are provided to support professional growth. Responsibilities Plan and deliver play-based, proprietary curriculum for assigned age group Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Lead daily routines, transitions, and classroom management Observe and assess children's developmental progress and adjust activities Communicate regularly with parents about child progress and classroom events Document lessons, activities, and child observations per center standards Collaborate with assistant teachers and staff to support classroom needs Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and health regulations Support implementation of center-wide programs and events Participate in training and professional development opportunities Required Skills Curriculum planning and implementation Classroom management Early childhood development knowledge Child assessment and observation Parent communication Behavior guidance and positive discipline Lesson planning and documentation Health, safety, and licensing compliance Collaboration and teamwork Basic technology skills for documentation and communication
