In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a loving, Christ-centered environment that supports the development of toddlers—spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. Your enthusiasm and commitment will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow with confidence while being introduced to foundational Christian values such as kindness, respect, and compassion. As a leader within our educational community, you will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with families, and ensure that every child is cared for with patience, grace, and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most formative years of a child's life while helping guide them in both learning and faith. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate early childhood education principles alongside Christian-based teachings such as love, kindness, sharing, and gratitude. Lead classroom activities that promote curiosity, creativity, physical development, and age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, and faith-based learning . Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques to maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment rooted in Christian values. Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, address concerns, and support each child's individual developmental and spiritual growth. Provide attentive care through daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap time, and outdoor play while maintaining high health and safety standards. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, helping create a supportive and unified teaching team. Maintain accurate records of children's developmental milestones, progress, and observations. Qualifications & Experience Prior classroom management experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is required. Strong understanding of toddler development and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate curriculum. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Experience in a childcare setting that prioritizes child safety, nurturing care, and faith-based values is preferred. A passion for working with young children and a willingness to support a Christian learning environment .
