Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote literacy, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help create a positive atmosphere where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to explore and learn. Duties Develop and execute innovative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development focused on literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead daily classroom activities that promote childhood development, social skills, behavior management, and early intervention strategies. Create a safe, inclusive environment that supports toddler care, classroom management, and child welfare best practices. Assess individual student progress through observations and standardized testing; tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs including special education requirements. Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, behavioral concerns, and developmental milestones through regular updates and conferences. Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare and daycare practices. Supervise assistant teachers or support staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality education and care. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool settings or early childhood education environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methodologies. Experience supporting special education needs and early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members effectively. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields; prior preschool experience preferred. Pay:
$8.25 - $10.00 per hour
