Early Preschool & Preschool Teacher - Kiddie Academy of Helotes | Helotes, TX Kiddie Academy of Helotes is seeking caring, energetic, and dependable Early Preschool and Preschool Teachers to join our team! As a teacher, you will work alongside a co-teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. If you have a passion for early childhood education, enjoy working collaboratively, and want to make a meaningful impact on children's lives every day, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment. Implement Kiddie Academy's Life Essentials® curriculum through hands-on learning experiences. Work collaboratively with your co-teacher to plan and facilitate daily activities. Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members. Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and licensing compliance. Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones. Communicate professionally and effectively with families regarding their child's day and development. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous childcare, preschool, or early childhood education experience preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain all required Texas childcare training. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, positive, and passionate about working with young children. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day, including sitting, standing, bending, and playing.
