Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for our youngest learners. Your expertise will help foster their developmental growth through innovative curriculum development, personalized child development instruction, and effective classroom management. You will inspire a team of educators while building strong relationships with families to ensure each child's unique needs are met. Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood development, literacy, math, and physical education. Oversee daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and individualized learning plans aligned with child welfare standards. Collaborate with families through regular communication about their child's progress, milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs. Supervise and mentor teaching staff, fostering professional growth in areas such as classroom management, lesson planning, and childhood development instruction. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child progress and incident reports. Incorporate best practices in preschool teaching, preschool experience techniques, and standardized testing where applicable to support each child's learning journey. Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including toddler care and preschool teaching. Strong knowledge of child development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Proven ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and mandated reporting laws. Ability to lead lesson planning sessions that align with developmental milestones and educational standards. Certifications in first aid and CPR; experience working with children requiring special accommodations is preferred.
