About Bright Start Learning Academy Bright Start Learning Academy is a growing early childhood education center dedicated to providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for a dependable, caring, energetic, and professional Childcare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate understands that working in childcare is more than simply supervising children. Our teachers help create meaningful learning experiences, encourage positive behavior, build relationships with families, and provide a safe and loving classroom environment. What You'll Do As a Childcare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing quality care and age-appropriate learning experiences for the children in your classroom.
Responsibilities include:
Provide attentive, nurturing, and dependable care to children. Supervise children at all times and maintain a safe classroom environment. Follow daily classroom schedules and lesson plans. Plan and participate in age-appropriate educational activities. Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Assist children with meals, snacks, diapering, toileting, handwashing, and other daily routines as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and childcare regulations. Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents and guardians. Observe and communicate children's developmental progress and behavioral concerns. Complete required classroom documentation and records. Work cooperatively with other teachers and administration. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development. Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the center. Follow Bright Start Learning Academy policies and procedures. Perform other childcare-related duties as assigned.

Committed to providing quality care and education. Someone who genuinely enjoys working with children. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred/required based on position requirements. Previous childcare or early childhood education experience preferred. Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children is a plus. Must be willing and able to complete required background checks and childcare training. Must meet applicable Texas childcare employment requirements. Must be able to safely perform the physical responsibilities of working with young children, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting children as needed. Entry-level candidates who are passionate about working with children are encouraged to apply if they meet the position requirements. Schedule Monday-Friday Applicants must be able to work a consistent schedule during the center's operating hours. No weekend availability is required for this position.
