Available Benefits Help for . #HGCY26 You will supervise the nursing unit and coordinate the effective use of personnel, supplies, equipment, and facilities.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Reviewing staffing patterns and census of nursing units; reassigning personnel when necessary to ensure residents' needs and budgetary controls are met
• Managing and analyzing patient care following admission/readmission; conducting initial assessment for newly admitted or readmitted patients
• Assisting in creating and implementing care plans that address individual residents' needs
• Administering medications, IV therapy, gastrostomy tube management, as well as some wound care
• Monitoring residents and communicating changes to physicians
• Ensuring appropriate documentation of resident care and maintaining medical records to ensure safe, efficient, and therapeutic care to residents
• Troubleshooting and investigating complaints, taking necessary action to resolve problems as necessary
• The qualified LVN candidate will have a degree in nursing from an accredited Nursing program. Additionally, you must have:
• LVN License, in good standing
• 1 year of experience as a nurse; experience in a long-term care facility preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality and react decisively in emergencies
• Exceptional supervisory skills, taking a proactive role in supervising and developing the nursing team
• Excellent training skills, ability to provide hands-on training to nursing staff
• Good problem-solving and independent thinking skills
• Case management skills, comfort with client relations
