Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Floater to join our early childhood team, working primarily with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. This position provides crucial support across multiple classrooms and helps ensure consistent, quality care throughout our program.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and supervision for children ages 2-3 years Assist with daily activities including meals, naps, and play time Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff Cover classroom breaks and provide support where needed throughout the day Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and other personal care needs Participate in daily devotions and incorporate Christian values into interactions

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working with infants/toddlers/preschoolers preferred CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Pre-Service Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for working with young children Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Commitment to Christian values and mission Background check clearance required
