Job Description

Pre-K Teacher | Full-Time | 7:30 AM-3:30 PM We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and nurturing Pre-K Teacher to join our early childhood team. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys the preschool age group, understands that four-year-olds are equal parts hilarious and chaotic, and can create a classroom that is structured, engaging, and welcoming.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM- 4PM, 1-1.5 hour lunch. What You'll Do Lead a Pre-K classroom using the Frog Street curriculum Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities Create a consistent classroom routine that supports independence, social-emotional growth, and kindergarten readiness Maintain an organized, welcoming, and well-managed classroom Supervise children actively and maintain required child-to-staff ratios Complete classroom documentation and developmental observations as required Communicate professionally and positively with families Work collaboratively with administration and other teachers Follow all child care licensing, health, safety, and program policies What We're Looking For A CDA (Child Development Associate credential) is strongly preferred. We are especially interested in applicants who have: Previous experience as a preschool or Pre-K teacher Experience working in a licensed child care center or early childhood program Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Strong classroom-management skills The ability to maintain structure while still making learning fun Excellent reliability and attendance Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, flexibility, and a genuine enjoyment of young children Experience with Frog Street is a plus, but we can train the right candidate. Applicants must be able to meet all requirements for employment in a Texas licensed child care program, including required background checks and training. Our Pre-K students are active, curious, funny, opinionated little humans who deserve a teacher who is excited to help them learn, build confidence, develop independence, and get ready for their next big step into kindergarten. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
