Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to toddlers and preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and respect among children Manage daily classroom routines including circle time, free play, snack time, rest periods, and outdoor activities with effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong partnerships Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and incident reports Apply classroom management techniques to promote safety, engagement, and inclusive participation for all students Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support diverse learning needs Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting with classroom experience in early childhood education Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or early intervention is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning Experience teaching physical education or implementing standardized testing is advantageous Passion for nurturing young children's growth through innovative teaching methods and child development instruction Join us in shaping the future by inspiring the next generation of learners!
