Full Job Description Childcare Provider Duties:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
• Assist with feeding, diapering, and potty training as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Follow all health and safety guidelines

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting, classroom, babysitting, or nannying role
• Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
• Ability to manage a classroom of children with varying needs and abilities
• Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Familiarity with creating lesson plans and implementing educational curriculum

Skills:

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience and understanding when dealing with challenging behaviors or situations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or needs of the children If you have experience working with students or have a background in special education, it would be considered a plus.
