Full Job Description Job Summary:

The School Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations, supporting staff, engaging with families, and promoting a safe and enriching learning environment. This role is ideal for someone who is both people-oriented and operationally strong, with a deep understanding of early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support teachers and staff to maintain a high-quality educational program. Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards. Oversee staff scheduling, hiring, training, and development. Build positive relationships with families and respond to their needs and concerns. Maintain accurate administrative and licensing documentation. Organize school events, staff meetings, and parent communications. Lead with compassion, consistency, and professionalism. Support classroom operations when needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a childcare leadership role (e.g. Director or Assistant Director). Knowledge of Texas CCR licensing standards and procedures. Strong communication and organizational skills. High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred). Must be Director Certified by Texas Child Care Licensing or eligible to become certified. CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire).
