Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the children have good hygiene and changing diapers/pull ups as necessary.
- Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day.
- Serve and supervise meals and snacks for the children.
- Organize activities and participate with the children.
- Follow the lesson plan and schedule.
- Keep records of each child's progress, interests, and any problems that may occur.
- Maintain contact with the children's parents and relaying information from throughout the day.
- Provide a safe and educational environment for the children.
- Supervise play and nap time.
- Provide responsible care and maintain all safety standards.
- Ensure the classroom is sanitary and in order.
- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents, children, and staff.
- Frequent cleaning duties around the center.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt them to meet the needs of individual students
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for working with children and promoting their welfare
- You must be flexible to work any shift between 6:45am-6:00pm.
