Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Handle chemical agents safely by following established chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without compromising safety. Maintain cleanliness through commercial cleaning techniques, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal to uphold high sanitation standards. Operate custodial equipment efficiently for floor care, buffing, and polishing to preserve the appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others. Skills Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures. Skilled in handling cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools. Familiarity with chemical agent handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with staff or visitors. Experience in educational facility cleaning a plus. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence and facilities upkeep practices to ensure a secure environment.
