Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical activity, and social-emotional skills Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and structured routines Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Apply behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies by documenting incidents or concerns accurately Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the classroom at all times Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, especially toddlers and preschoolers Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education techniques Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively through classroom management skills Experience with special education needs and implementing inclusive teaching practices Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during emergencies Familiarity with standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment Experience teaching physical education or promoting active play for young children Understanding of child welfare laws, mandated reporting requirements, and confidentiality standards Prior experience in private or preschool settings is advantageous Join us in shaping the future by fostering a nurturing environment where every child can thrive!
