Full-Time / Part-Time About Us Little Texans Learning Academy (LTLA) is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We focus on early childhood education, helping children develop essential skills through play-based and structured learning experiences. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and loves working with children. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting each child's development in line with our curriculum and values. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported and encouraged. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and the center's leadership team. Assist with daily routines, including meal times, nap schedules, and personal care (diapering, potty training, hygiene). Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, activities, and any concerns. Follow all licensing and safety guidelines set by state regulations. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience working in a childcare or preschool setting is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain patient in a fast-paced environment. Must pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.
