Based on education and experience About the Position We are seeking a loving, caring, dependable, and knowledgeable Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early learning team. Our Early Learning Center is a 4-Star Texas Rising Star facility located on a school district campus. We are committed to providing high-quality early childhood experiences in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. Our program utilizes the Frog Street Curriculum along with developmentally appropriate practices and current best practices in early childhood education. Our teachers create meaningful learning experiences that support the whole child while building strong relationships with children and families. Responsibilities Provide a warm, nurturing, and responsive environment for infants and toddlers. Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families. Plan and implement intentional, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play, exploration, movement, music, sensory experiences, and hands-on discovery. Use the Frog Street Curriculum to support children's developmental and learning goals. Intentionally challenge infants and toddlers at their individual developmental levels while keeping learning fun and engaging. Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, language, physical, and self-help development. Observe and document children's growth and developmental progress. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment. Follow all center policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable licensing requirements. Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and fellow staff members. Work collaboratively with other teachers and center staff to provide consistent, high-quality care. Provide dependable and consistent attendance and arrive prepared to support the classroom each day. Participate in professional development and continue to grow knowledge of early childhood best practices. Qualifications & Desired Qualities We are looking for someone who: Genuinely loves working with infants and toddlers . Is warm, patient, nurturing, and attentive to the individual needs of young children. Understands infant and toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices. Can create intentional, engaging, and fun learning experiences . Is dependable, responsible, and committed to consistent attendance. Works well as part of a team. Communicates effectively and professionally with children, families, and coworkers. Is willing to learn, grow, and implement curriculum and best practices. Has a positive attitude and takes pride in providing high-quality early childhood care and education. Prior experience working with infants and toddlers and/or formal education in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Why Join Our Team?
