Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies. Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and implementing best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Must be able to come in 7:00AM. Must be able to pass a background check. Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare laws such as mandated reporting laws is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
