JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking Industrial Painters to join our production team. This position is ideal for a skilled painter who prioritizes safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork. Success in this role requires strict adherence to code standards and specifications. Pay depending upon experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications. Apply primers, intermediate coats, and finish coats using spray guns or other approved methods. Monitor coating thickness and curing requirements. Inspect painted surfaces for coverage, finish quality, and defects. Clean and maintain painting equipment after use. Maintain production records and quality documentation. Ensure proper containment and disposal of spent materials. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance Report equipment malfunctions and quality issues promptly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work collaboratively with supervisors, managers, and other departments. Follow all safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE and ventilation systems Follow all quality management procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanical aptitude. Prior coating, sandblasting, or manufacturing experience preferred but not always required. Ability to work safely in an industrial environment. Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills. Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Must be a team player. Must be open to cross-training opportunities. Repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach up to 12 hours daily Work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, hearing protection, and other required equipment.
