Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Worker to join our team. The hours are 9:15 am-12:15 pm on Sunday mornings and 5:45-7:15 pm on Wednesdays. Additional hours are available on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This position involves working closely with infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental needs and fostering a love for God and the Bible. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment. Use the provided curriculum to implement age-appropriate activities that promote Biblical learning. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and nap times. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the nursery space. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare. Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed. Provide first aid as necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Skills Experience working with children in various capacities, such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny, is preferred. Proficiency in caregiving techniques, including infant care, toddler care, and behavior management. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
