Start the children off right. Come join a Texas Rising Star center! Little Treehouse Early Learning Center is seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher. Come on board and help these children develop an early joy for learning! This is a weekday position, Monday thru Friday. No weekends! Ongoing training, classroom materials and curriculum are provided to make your job easier. The ideal candidate will meet the following: Texas Rising Star experience preferred but not required. Provide an active role model by leading and participating in moderate to vigorous physical activities with and for the children. Love children and have a desire to make a difference every day. Maintain a professional, caring, and friendly attitude. Be an outstanding communicator with rapport-building skills. Minimum of two years experience working with children is preferred but not required. Have a desire to work in a drama-free environment. Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus. Responsibilities Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.) Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Track children's progress and report to parents Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards We provide training and supply curriculum to make your job easier.
