Our Providence center features spacious classrooms, outdoor play areas, and engaging programs designed to foster development, creativity, and social skills in a nurturing environment. Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Teacher specializing in Infant care (12:30 PM to 6:30 PM) to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will create a safe, stimulating, and caring atmosphere for our youngest learners. Your dedication will support their growth through developmentally appropriate activities, positive behavior management, and effective communication with families. This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's early years. Duties Plan and implement engaging daily activities tailored to infants' developmental stages, including sensory play, early literacy, and motor skills development Foster a safe and nurturing environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Support infants' physical needs through diapering, feeding, and comforting as required Maintain accurate documentation of each child's development and behavior for ongoing assessment Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent classroom management and behavior guidance strategies Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child welfare or safety Skills Experience working with children in early childhood settings or childcare environments Strong knowledge of child development principles and early intervention strategies Proficiency in curriculum development focused on infant learning needs Ability to manage classroom routines effectively while fostering independence in young children Excellent communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration Knowledge of childhood education standards including literacy education, math basics, and physical education for infants Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers Certification in first aid and CPR required; experience with special education or preschool teaching is a plus Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety Join us at The Kid's Corral where your enthusiasm fuels young minds!
