Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development. Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to ensure inclusive learning experiences. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain accurate records of child development assessments, standardized testing results, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times by maintaining child welfare standards and providing first aid and CPR when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or childcare environments. Strong background in curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child development instruction. Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention techniques, and childhood development theories. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional credentials in childhood education or preschool teaching preferred. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Experience with preschool teaching, toddler care, private school environments, or standardized testing is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes physical activity, literacy education, and overall child well-being.
