Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K 3 Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for teaching young children will help foster a love of learning while supporting their individual developmental needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of preschoolers and their families through innovative lesson planning, effective classroom management, and collaborative communication. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of three-year-old children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management strategies. Utilize child development instruction techniques to support early intervention needs and promote holistic growth. Maintain detailed lesson plans aligned with preschool standards and standardized testing where applicable. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through clear and compassionate updates. Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certification requirements. Manage classroom routines effectively while fostering a supportive environment for toddlers' care, including activities that promote physical activity and social interaction. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives and participate in ongoing professional development focused on childhood development best practices. Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings is required; experience with toddlers is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in classroom management, behavior management techniques, and child welfare practices. Background in special education or early intervention programs is advantageous for supporting diverse learning needs. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members using strong communication skills. Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement-based activities into daily lessons is a plus. Familiarity with childhood development standards, standardized testing procedures, and preschool curriculum development is essential. Previous private school or preschool teaching experience will be considered an asset. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
