Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Preschool Office Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Your proactive approach and excellent organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment while managing office assistant tasks efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support a nurturing educational setting and contribute to the positive experience of children and their families. Responsibilities The Preschool Office Assistant provides office support duties for Director and Assistant Director. Greet visitors, parents, and staff with professionalism and warmth, providing exceptional customer service at the front desk Filing, helping create bulletin boards, collecting and distributing curriculum supplies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Office support duties for Director and Assistant Director Maintain supportive relationships with staff, children, and parents Assist in the classrooms when needed Assist with curriculum distribution when needed Distribute inventory and supplies Lead and coordinate ad-hoc projects as requested/needed
QUALIFICATIONS
: One or more years of experience working in a childcare center Knowledge of Texas DFPS Minimum Standards Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with children, staff, and parents Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher) and Canva Must be proficient in various Social Media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Must be able to create flyers, notices, and other communications on behalf of the Center Must have strong communication skills and be able to have difficult conversations Must be proactive, organized and a multitasker Must have excellent customer service, organization, and time management skills High school diploma or equivalent Qualifications Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse families and community members Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating strong time management skills Prior experience in a preschool or educational setting is a plus but not required. Pay:
$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
