Job Description
We are seeking a Part-time Childcare Provider to watch our two boys who just turned 1 and 4 years old. We are looking for someone with experience in caring for multiple children and providing a professional, compassionate, and age appropriate environment for our children. Following a schedule and interacting with our children is important to us. If you plan on letting the tv entertain them and play on your phone this isn't the job for you. We hope to hire someone who generally enjoys being around young children and is a responsible and respectful caregiver. We are looking to fill Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am-5pm. Duties/skills required
- Provide constant supervision
- Be kind and patient with a temperament for being around children.
- Care for all basic needs like feeding, hygiene, potty assistance, and diapering.
- Cleaning up after them as necessary (like countertops, toys, highchair, floors, washing soiled clothes, their dishes, ect)
- Leading and participating in age appropriate activities. Like learning games or arts and crafts.
- Assist them in learning basic tasks and skills.
- Show emotional support in a loving and empathetic way.
- Provide structure and routine.
- Communicate well with parents about concerns and achievements.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years childcare experience
- CPR Certified
- Must have reliable vehicle
- No Criminal Record
- Be reliable and on time
