Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners to explore, grow, and develop essential skills through engaging activities and thoughtful guidance. As a vital part of our educational community, you will foster a safe, inclusive space where children feel valued and excited to learn every day. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional growth. Facilitate engaging classroom activities that support toddler care, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Monitor and assess each child's progress through observation, standardized testing where applicable, and ongoing documentation. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's milestones, behavioral updates, and individualized learning goals. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment aligned with childcare standards and child welfare guidelines. Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting lesson plans accordingly. Lead physical education activities and promote healthy habits to encourage overall well-being. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs for toddlers. Familiarity with working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment is a plus. Previous private school or Montessori experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for early childhood education is essential. Join us in shaping the future by providing joyful, meaningful learning experiences for our youngest learners!
