Job Description

Experienced Preschool Floater Teacher | 1:00-5:30 PM High Altitude Kids - Eden, Utah Monday-Friday | 1:00-5:30 PM $18-$20/hour, depending on experience High Altitude Kids is looking for an experienced, warm, capable preschool teacher to join our afternoon team. This is a perfect position for someone who loves working with young children but is looking for a consistent part-time schedule. About the Position Our afternoon floater helps wherever our school needs an extra set of experienced hands. You may support a preschool classroom, help during quiet time, cover teacher breaks, assist with afternoon activities, spend time outdoors with children, or step into a classroom when another teacher is absent. We are looking for someone who can walk into a classroom, notice what needs to be done, and jump in.
We'd Love Someone Who:
Has previous preschool, childcare, elementary, or early childhood experience Genuinely enjoys children ages 2-5 Is warm, playful, patient, and confident Can comfortably manage a small group of children Takes initiative without needing constant direction Understands that great preschool teaching is much more than supervising children Is dependable and able to work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule Enjoys being outside, creating, playing, reading, building, and talking with children Works well as part of a team About High Altitude Kids We are a small, established early childhood school in Eden with a relationship-based approach inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori, play, nature, art, and contemporary child development. Our classrooms are active, beautiful spaces where children are encouraged to explore, create, build, problem-solve, and develop genuine relationships with their teachers. We care deeply about childhood—and we want teachers who do too.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1:00-5:30
PM Pay:
