The Kids Connection is currently accepting applications for a Preschool Teacher. Primary Responsibilities Support children's development and social-emotional growth through age-appropriate activities Create and complete weekly lesson plans on time and follow classroom schedules Serve meals and snacks while being mindful of any classroom allergies Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Ensure all licensing rules and regulations are followed Communicate openly and professionally with staff, administration, and families Post required daily updates and information in the parent app Assist with toileting, diaper changes, and potty training as needed
Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Perks of Working With Us Meals are included for all staff Curriculum, materials, and classroom supplies provided Health insurance benefits Paid training and professional development opportunities Staff activities, celebrations, and team events A supportive team centered on our core values: Empathy, Growth, Team Player, and Solution Seekers We're Looking for Someone Who Is reliable, friendly, and passionate about working with young children Demonstrates our core values and takes initiative when needed Can lift up to 30 lbs, bend, and move easily throughout the day Has knowledge of child development or a willingness to learn Qualifications CDA or a degree in a childcare-related field preferred Classroom teaching experience CPR/First Aid and Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a background check Willingness to complete 20-40 hours of required childcare training
