Job Description

ABC Great Beginnings is looking for caregivers who are kind, energetic, and have integrity. Our caregivers want to guide the destiny of a generation and do the most good for the most children. We have opportunities for you to nurture beautiful infants, loving toddlers, curious preschoolers, or excited school-agers Here at ABC Great Beginnings, you will assist our team in ensuring children's safety and delivering daily lessons. Helping the children learn and develop through guided play is gratifying for both you and the children. As a float Substitute Teacher, you will be crucial to maintaining the quality and continuity of care and education when regular staff are absent.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Stepping into various classrooms (Infant, Toddler, Preschool) as assigned on a day-to-day basis. Implementing pre-planned lesson activities and classroom routines effectively. Supervising children safely during all activities, including indoor play, outdoor time, meals, and rest periods. Assisting with general classroom management, organization, and light cleaning tasks. Following all state licensing regulations and center policies. Maintaining a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all children.
What We Require:
RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST.
You must be able to travel efficiently and punctually between multiple center locations within the designated area with little notice. Minimum High School Diploma or GED (Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or CDA is a plus). Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff. Exceptional flexibility, reliability, and professionalism. Must pass a thorough background check and FBI fingerprinting as required by state licensing.
