Job Summary We are seeking a nurturing, patient, and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our childcare team here at Little Learners Academy. In this role, you will create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where infants can grow, explore, and reach early developmental milestones. You will serve as a trusted partner to parents, providing exceptional physical care and intentional early learning experiences.

What You'll Do Nurturing Care:

Administer responsive care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and maintaining safe sleep routines.

Curriculum Implementation:

Design and lead age-appropriate, sensory-rich activities that promote motor skills, language development, and social-emotional growth.

Parent Partnership:

Maintain open, daily communication with families regarding their child's milestones, routines, and daily care logs using the Tadpole App.

Classroom Safety:

Ensure a clean, sanitized, and secure classroom that strictly complies with state licensing regulations and safety standards.

Observation & Assessment:

Track and document individual developmental progress to share with parents on a progress report twice a year.

Requirements Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.

Certifications:

Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Deep knowledge of infant development, good communication skills, and the physical stamina to lift, bend, and sit on the floor with children. Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
