Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula, promote positive behavior, and build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Your role is vital in supporting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of preschool-aged children, ensuring they develop the skills necessary for lifelong learning. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement developmentally appropriate, project-based curriculum for preschool-aged children Observe, assess, and document children's learning progress using approved tools Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom community Guide and mentor assistant teachers and interns Maintain open communication with families and participate in parent-teacher conferences Ensure daily routines follow licensing and school standards (e.g., supervision, transitions, hygiene)

Qualifications Minimum:

CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (Bachelor's preferred) 1+ years of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood setting Knowledge of or interest in Montessori / Reggio / project-based learning a plus Meets all state licensing requirements (background check, immunizations, CPR/First Aid) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and education Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave Professional development opportunities

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
