Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Infant / Toddler Teacher•Early Learning Classroom The Learning Experience•Gainesville is seeking a caring and dependable Infant / Toddler Teacher to support children during the most important stages of early development. This role focuses on creating a nurturing environment where infants and toddlers build secure relationships, develop confidence, strengthen communication skills, and explore the world through responsive caregiving and engaging learning experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy supporting young learners while partnering with families to help children reach important developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities Support daily classroom routines for infants and toddlers ages 6 weeks to 24 months Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and supervision throughout the day Implement developmentally appropriate sensory activities and early learning experiences Foster language development, social-emotional growth, and independence Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Observe and document developmental milestones Communicate regularly with families regarding routines, milestones, and daily progress Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Follow Virginia childcare licensing and health and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma required Prior childcare experience required Experience working with infants and/or toddlers preferred Patient, nurturing, and team-oriented approach Strong communication and organizational skills Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $17•20 based on experience Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment Professional development and career advancement opportunities Employee childcare discount Apply Today Join The Learning Experience•Gainesville and help create a warm, engaging environment where infants and toddlers build the confidence, curiosity, and strong foundations for lifelong learning.
