Job Description

Tots 'N Toyland is searching for a wonderful new addition to our team to work with children between the ages of two and five. We are a state-licensed center and believe in a play-based approach to learning. Safety awareness and a passion for engaging with children are key elements of this position.
Our ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate patience and compassion with children, families, and coworkers Exude a warm and gentle attitude Move quickly and multi-task to keep an engaging pace and ensure safety Provide a strong model for appropriate behavior Have the confidence to implement discipline when needed Show creativity and initiative Offer flexibility across classrooms and circumstances to support the center as a unit Exhibit organization skills, classroom cleanliness, and excellent hygiene and appearance You must be able to repeatedly lift 20-50 pounds, maintain a calm, clean, and purposeful play environment, freely communicate with parents and co-workers and use technology to record daily activities. Duties include assistance with toileting and diapering, feeding, dressing, cleaning, data entry, and activity planning and play. You must be able to pass state and CPS background checks, be a nonsmoker/non-vaper, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, have your own transportation, and be at least 18+ years of age. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
