Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and childhood development principles. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence in childcare. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that adheres to all licensing and safety regulations. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional strategies. Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, classroom management, and best practices in early childhood education. Experience Proven classroom management experience in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention support. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used to assess child development and learning outcomes. Prior experience in private school or daycare settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to toddler care, preschool experience, and classroom experience in early childhood education.
