Duties Lead daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, and engaging infants in age-appropriate activities that promote development and curiosity Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual child needs Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, adjusting activities to support growth in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional development Foster a safe, clean, and stimulating environment by maintaining proper sanitation and safety protocols in accordance with pediatric first aid and CPR guidelines Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns or updates Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality care and classroom management Adhere to mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of abuse or neglect while maintaining confidentiality at all times Requirements Proven experience working with infants and young children in daycare or preschool settings Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to follow health and safety regulations diligently while creating a nurturing environment Demonstrated understanding of early childhood education practices, including child supervision and behavior management techniques This is a paid position designed for passionate educators eager to foster early learning experiences.
