CAVE SPRING UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Weekday Preschool is searching for a caring, kind, loving individual to join our staff. Must have a heart for caring for children! Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. Early childhood education or experience caring for young children is preferred but not required. We are currently seeking a caregiver for Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM in our Infant Class. Children in this class are 9 to 23 months old. FBI Fingerprinting and CPS background checks will be performed. Must have a physician-signed Staff Health Report on file. Must be able to lift 40 pounds, bend, sit on the floor, etc. Weekday School Co-Teacher Responsibilities include ensuring children are always supervised, carrying out provided lesson plans, and establishing and following classroom routines. This also involves assisting children with organized activities and experiences, including songs, games, and storytelling, using the provided curriculum, and maintaining a neat and orderly classroom. Integrating special needs children in a positive and respectful manner. Communicating with parents as needed and collaborating with other teachers.
