Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, and rest periods, maintaining vigilant child supervision at all times. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in line with early childhood education principles. Follow mandated reporting laws to identify and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately. Support children with infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities, adapting techniques to meet individual needs. Since this nursery exists in a church setting, there will often be age-appropriate Christian songs, symbols, and stories in the nursery environment Skills Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and positive behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to follow early childhood education best practices while adhering to health & safety regulations.
