Teachers are responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team; coordinating the curriculum; and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Lead Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. Minimum of 3 months of professional child care experience preferred. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age with high energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents). The following are required either before or once hired: Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification; MAT and DHO certification. Applicant must also clear full background check and pass TB test/screening.

Educational Preferences:

• Teaching diploma from a recognized Montessori organization OR
• Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits OR
• CDA (Child Development Associates Credential)OR
• Six months of supervised programmatic experience with the intent to complete 12 hours of training within a month of being hired.
